More job cuts pain in the UK...
It was reported on Friday 03 October 08 that the worlds biggest fund manager is looking to cut 2,000 more jobs. The bank is looking to close most of its commodities business and scaling back on investment banking, although not closing investment banking completely.
The bank has already cut 4100 jobs in the previous year and most of the cuts will be seen in the US and the UK.
